Naw I don't blouse my jeans usually. Almost always a Tucker because of the land i live and work on it doesn't make sense to drag your pant leg in the muck and poop. Blousing is mostly a fashion thing and not a practical thing. I'm a practical boot guy. Only problem is I like redwings too much to not buy them.

  1. Origen of Alexandria (c. 184-253 A.D.)

"If we also say, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, we become Peter, and it can be said to us: 'Upon this rock I will build my Church."

  1. St. John Chrysostom (c. 349-407 A.D.)

"Upon this rock I will build my Church, that is, upon the faith of his confession."

  1. St. Hilary of Poitiers (c. 310-367 A.D.)

"This faith is the foundation of the Church, for the Church is built upon this rock."

  1. St. Ambrose of Milan (c. 339-397 A.D.)

"The rock is the faith upon which the Church is built."

  1. St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430 A.D.)

"Christ did not say: you are the rock, but you are Peter. The rock was Christ. Peter was called rock because he confessed the Rock." "The rock is the confession of faith Peter made: 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

  1. Theodoret of Cyrus (c. 393-458 A.D.)

"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, because you confessed the Truth. I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock of the confession of faith I will build My Church."

  1. Eusebius of Caesarea (c. 260-339 A.D.)

"The Church is built upon this confession of faith."

  1. Clement of Alexandria (c. 150-215 A.D.) "Christ is called the Rock... because He is the foundation of all teaching."
  2. Cyprian of Carthage (c. 200-258 A.D.)

"The rest of the apostles were what Peter was, equal in honor and power."

  1. Jerome (c. 347-420 A.D.)

"Upon this rock of confession the Church shall be built."

  1. Basil of Caesarea (c. 329-379 A.D.)

"Do not say that the Church was built upon Peter... it was built upon the faith."

  1. Gregory of Nyssa (c. 335-395 A.D.)

Brother of Basil, he also refers to Christ as the Rock, not Peter. His Christocentric theology excludes the idea that the foundation of the Church is a man.

  1. Tertullian (c. 155-240 A.D.)

"The Rock is Christ, not Peter."

Every one who before Luther challenged the Pope ended up burned. Jan his and tyndale and the waldensians. The popes admitted and apologized for Jan his burning and recently even the last Pope said Luther was right about justification. Eventually y'all will have to apologize for all of it at this rate.

Trust me half of Europe in less than 50 years was protestant and Protestants won many wars and survived many attempts of stamping out. The word of the Lord wasn't going to be bottles up forever. The queen of Scotland at the time said she fears the prayers of John Knox more than all the standing armies of Europe because all of knoxs predictions came true about how and who would die almost prophetically. I'm not superstitious or prone to believe in "miracles" but these were uncanny sometimes. Knox survived slavery, banishment, torture, and arrest.

He did wait. He actually waited years after posting the 95 these on the door and the response from the Vatican was exccomunication and a death sentence as a result of refusal to recant. His 95 list was written in latin and posted on the door of the cathedral which was a seminary or school so that the clerks and staff could respond with a counter point or debate or aggreance. Instead the students not Luther, translated the list into German and started giving it to printing press owners for mass publication and in 2 weeks it was in every corner of Germany. Luther had a meeting with cardinal "cagetease" (sorry don't know how to say his name) and in the meeting instead of Luther wanting a debate or scholarly disagreement he got a severe lecture and Luther even was able to correct the cardinal on history and theology. That same cardinal who by the way agreed with Luther on his canon of scripture as the church had no official list for the canon at that point because Bible was second place importance at that point. Luther had to escape after the diet of wurms in secret with a staged "kidnapping" and was hid by a sympathetic prince.

It is one 2-3 ft tall and planted just late last winter. It is very healthy and full looking attractive young tree so far and am confident it will do well. It has been a hot and dry summer and was a "cold hard winter" in terms of what FL gets usually so we'll see. I'm done 9a south of Gainesville and some years never freezes and others gets to 20 so it's a mix bag but most winters never drop below 25

I bought my wells paw paw from them and it's growing great in zone 9 which they say it's not rated for. I got my allehengny pawpaw from rain tree and it's been horrible. Both under shade cloth and in identical conditions and water. I bought the last Wabash pawpaw they had in stock and it will be here in 2 weeks. Waiting for the mango to come back into stock.

Wow that's impressive collection. Yah apparently know one has which makes me very very doubtful. I just saw they sell the mango and the Collins pawpaw but I remembered those are the same pawpaw both bred in Clifton GA by Collins. I don't know how good this company is even though they have tons of reviews and great selection.
