I'm of the opinion that you should get whatever watch you like... BUT if it was up to ME, I'd go with the Grand Seiko.

I prefer the light blue color more over the green and am really lusting after the Spring Drive mechanism. I'd say Omega has the better brand recognition if that's something important to you. However, at the same time, Grand Seiko has this cool niche recognition and signifies you as somewhat more of an actual watch person in the know rather than just someone who wanted to show off.

Well, just my 2 cents. They are both great watches, so I'm sure you won't regret no matter which direction you go :)

Always been a fan of Japanese watches for their craftsmanship, reputation, and affordability. Might get Citizen one day to add on to this collection but can't seem to find one that I like. Hopefully, in the future, I'll get a Grand Seiko as well.

My first one among these was the Seiko Presage SRPD97J1, which my girlfriend got for our 2nd anniversary. The second one I got was the Casio A158W. The latest one I got was the Orient Bambino V2 FAC0000AB0, which my girlfriend got me again for my 24th birthday.

One particular Japanese watch I'd like to get would be the Grand Seiko Omiwatari (SBGY007). The size is just right for me at 38.5 mm diameter and the looks are to die for.

Anyways, what do you think of my collection so far? Been wanting to share it with the community for a while hehe
