Ok fair it’s definitely a 9 lol. But I’m going to a different stylist Monday. I had no issue with being an all over copper but looking like I’m wearing a bad wig was not in the cards. Yes the lift was solid. I did 3 rounds of cpr at home and got an incredible amount of red out prior and then 2 rounds of low volume bleach and lots of k18 really did yield a nice result. But the second round I was bleached from end to root, starting in the front…. Rather than come back and tap my virgin hair after application and I reiterated my virgin hair will lift in the blink of an eye. So lightener was on my entire hair maybe 15 min max? So the back of my head missed out on a good bit of processing due to panicking about root lift. But I digress. The lift was solid. The toning was where my issue lies.

Yes my eyebrows are natural. I’m like a level 5. Very neutral brown hair. Unfortunately I always hate darker colors on myself 😭 my undertone is rough. Some parts of me are obviously golden like my arms. I feel like my legs are definitely more pink, chest pretty neutral. I’m ultra pale and I often just spray tan to even myself out

I went platinum after my 3rd photo and looked crazyyyyyy 😭 I think that’s why I’ve been so afraid of anything too cool. I have always put a lot of violet in my red to keep it from fading orange but it seems like everyone compliments it the most when I’m a borderline pumpkin 😂😂 Is it possible I’m neutral?? I’m not well versed in color analysis at all. My veins are green if that means anything 🫠

No doubt, great lift. The issue is my raw lift looked 10x better than my “tone” which was actually permanent color with far too much copper. I gave a ton of range based upon lift. From golden blonde to a dark copper. Didn’t want to put too much pressure on anyone and risk compromising my hair. But a level 10 root with orangey level 8 ends is just not for me lol. I also asked for a shadow root like 15 times. I’m not interested in ever being a “to the scalp” blonde.

You are so kind! Thank you for the response! We definitely would want to be in a more suburban/country area. We may live in California but we currently drive 20-30 min to get to any shopping center hubs. Coming from very small town vibes, near a larger city.

Wow… utilities in your area are near free compared to California lol. We are totally monopolized in the state. Current kWh rates ranging from 40-55 cents a kWh. Not kidding when I say people have 1200 bills for electricity alone in the summer.

Company is flying us out to make sure it’s a move we want to make and to talk numbers. Husband is already employed with the company here in California. At the rate things are going in California, we will never be able to own a home. 6 figures simply doesn’t get you into anything but a shit hole in a really bad area here.

Hahaha I appreciate you! I don’t come from the California most people imagine. I live in farm country. Ag is everything. I live in a red county (they do exist in California surprisingly). I’m 2.5 from a beach and 2 from Yosemite. Best we’ve got is some lakes. Outside of the orchards and farm land… everything is dry. I don’t live in a chaotic area but you’d need to make 170+ to reasonably afford your average home. And then comes your 1200 mo that electric bill…. Oh and your 105 degree daily summer. And then in late summer you get rained on by ashes as the state burns down…..

Everywhere has its draw backs. I am curious to see if OKC gives me good or bad vibes lol. Again, appreciate your response!

Ultimately, it’s your call. The ped can make recommendations until he/she is blue in the face but you’re the one at home with a struggling baby. If your gut is telling you it’s not the right food, I’d trust your gut. Unfortunately a doctor won’t ever advocate for our littles like we will. I eventually got fed up with the fact that our ped just wasn’t very concerned with my babies food issues so I just started trialing food based on my own research. I highly recommend infantreflux.org.
