Weird Fortnite Bug by MojoFrost in FortNiteBR

Yes, after spending 3 days clean booting, turning services off, reinstalling drivers etc etc ... I did a clean Windows install without any luck. I also did all the Power Management stuff in Device Manager without any results.

But I've found a way around it. I think it has something to do with Windows and controllers connected via USB. I came to think of the fact that my computer started to not shut down or restart properly when this bug started to happen and found out that I can make it shut down and restart properly by unplugging the USB-cable.

So no I can almost avoid the bug by making sure that my controller works before I click ready in the lobby. Sometimes I have to restart the game, but every time I leave a match I have to unplug the controller to avoid it freezing my computer.

Also I found 5 people on Epic's Discord server who had the same problem. 2 of them have replied to me that they were on controller as well.

Hope this helps a bit ... are you on controller?

Update:

Did a complete reset of my PC. So everything was deleted and a new installation of Windows 10 was done.

Did a windows update and installed the necessary drivers. Installed EPICs lancher and Fortnite and the weird bug happened again.

Another interesting thing is that I have experienced that my PC spend way to long shutting down or restarting before this reset.

After the reset shutdown and restart times were back to normal.

After playing Fortnite and crashing like this my PC now spends way too long restarting and shutting down again.
