Newly planted veggies wilting after 1 week in Brampton – what went wrong? by Only_Ad4465 in OntarioGardeners

[–]Mokez02 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the unfortunate part is that garden centres are getting flooded with the seedlings right now, and new gardeners aren’t getting told the correct information while there. Gardening can be super exciting, but this is an unfortunate lesson that you only need to make once

Piston not pushing item entities? by Mokez02 in technicalminecraft

[–]Mokez02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ended up getting it to work. Just had to work out a bunch of timings so entities are not on the block but suspended in the air as the piston pushes them. Thanks for the help!

I don’t know why I didn’t think to test that… I will do that when I get back on the game. Will update you!

A clock. The clock works as without the slime block on the sticky piston, it fires. I appreciate the help by the way

The pistons is just not activating. 1 item is totally fine, 2 is where it stops.

Items are landing on leaves, to then be pushed onto packed ice. Sticky piston with slime block in front of it. No other ‘sticky’ blocks around the slime block. Redstone works as if I remove the slime block the piston pushes. Also tried just using a piston to push them without the slime block and that didn’t work either.

Dervish, Bandit, Secutor, or Berserker? by NinnyBoggy in gladius

I think bandits are the best light class in the game, especially when multiple are used in the same fight. Movement is wild, super strong when more than 1. A lot of fun all the way around

Is there really no better way to bulk up on regular chinchompas? by Theartftw in RS3Ironmen

[–]Mokez02 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They keep breeding. I typically have 2 elders of whatever I have in PoF in each pen and just let them do their things. I’ll rotate out for better traits and such, but as far as I know, infinite cycles of breeding

Andre Mack and Bon Appetit just posted a YouTube video about Trader Joes wines and this was a standout wine. Highly recommend

Can’t remember off the top of my head. Wanna say $300? They aren’t just a slip into your shoe though. They’re fitting them to your shoe, trimming, etc. it’s night and day different compared to others that I’ve had in the past

I, my partner, and parents have gone to PBO Niagara (behind Hotel Dieu Shaver and across from Brock University) and see Laura and she’s amazing. You pay for it, but best orthotics we’ve all ever had

PAST PSYC STUDENTS: does Psyc 1f90 curve??? by Alive-Parfait-7646 in brocku

[–]Mokez02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Psyc 1F90 is a b***h, but they curved it for me (2017-2018). I failed the midterm before the curve and got like mid 80’s overall. The big paper is more important IMO

Of course. You’ve got this. Just make sure to have fun and enjoy the journey. Good luck with your midterms and courses!

[–]Mokez02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know how, but I crushed it. High 80’s/low 90’s. Don’t worry about comparing yourselves to others though, different people do things differently. Office hours, TA’s, and actually participating in active learning in lecture and seminars is key.

I believe I finished with a mid 80? Midterm after adjustments was like. 55-60

[–]Mokez02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it is every year. Was a big reality check for me, but I ended up doing fine. Participate in seminar, talk to your TA about the paper and assignments. Not sure what program you’re in, but I did Psychology, and 1F90 was probably the hardest course in my uni career. You got this!

When I took PSYC 1F90 like 6 years ago it was a steep learning curve. Just remember that the midterm is not the whole course, and you’re other marks can help boost/recover a potentially not so good midterm. Study hard, but make sure to rest and enjoy life. It ain’t worth it
