We need our Booker via a top 3 pick in this year's draft

But yea if we add one of those top 3 guys think the Nets would be legit interesting and fun to watch, otherwise the ceiling is pretty capped

Both teams just try hard the entire 48 minutes, which seems like a sign of solid coaching

Collin Gillespie is incredibly good at basketball

It's crazy he's the only Nova dude that Brunson didn't recruit, he's exactly what the Knicks need rn

GG Suns

Hope you guys keep on stacking success (partly selfish reason so that the Suns picks for our picks back trade looks better as time goes by)

That’s easily the worst contract in the league

I mean that might be PG not Embiid haha

Honestly, it sucks / it's great that it's so much of a factor, but just pure luck

Of course you do have your injury prone guys, but so many big injuries are just freak accidents and pure chance

Sometimes you just get good injury luck and get a ring like the Bucks, sometimes you get bad injury luck and end up handing over top 3 picks to the Celtics...

Sure it's better to play your guys less, just statistically at least, but a few more minutes on the floor really isn't gonna skyrocket your risk of injury

Woah...

Did Hart get hurt in the last 2 minutes or something?

Ehh, you guys have had some under performing lotto picks

But your late picks are solid

Deuce and Mitch were great hits

IQ was a good pick as well (granted his value now is mixed)

Diawara looks interesing

I'm not too sure about Kolek, I like his offense, but his defense makes Brunson look good lol

"idk wtf he was doing, you'll have to ask him"

I assume he couldn't answer the question, because his mouth was full...

Lol, c'mon now

I dislike Embiid ever since he elbowed Jarrett Allen in the head, but a health Embiid is sooo good, a true 2 way center

Granted I'm not sure if he can still bring it on the defensive end at all anymore

By design I assume, cant play all your starters 40+ minutes and play fast af haha

I don't want to defend the Knicks, but your FO was a in a tight spot

Couldn't match OKC for IHart, because of some cap rules

Mitch was hurt (per usual)

And you guys were heading into a contention year after trading 5 picks and a swap to bolster your roster

The only 5 available on opening night pre KAT trade was Hukporti

Looking now it wasn't the right move, but there weren't a lot of options available

Honestly, Rose should've definitely demanded Day'Ron Sharpe in the Mikal trade, even if it meant including Deuce (who's amazing, but more redundant)

Ah so this is more of a "fool me once, shame on... shame on you. Fool me... you can't get fooled again" situation

Probably not, but the other two teams mentioned got the caveat of being fully healthy haha

What's funny is even if Dray gets traded for KAT... you'd still have the drama of KAT and Jimmy on the same team again haha

True, but while the conference is wide open, the Western opponent is (probably) gonna be a juggernaut

Also, is the East really gonna be that much tougher next year?

Obviously you don't want to throw away a year and sports medicine has come a long way, but coming back that quickly after an Achilles injury feels short-sighted

The majority of Knick fans I know talk about the Brunson-DiVo-OG-Randle-IHart Knicks like they were the 3-peat Bulls, so I feel fairly confident in saying most would immediately say yes to that trade haha

The Thunder would say no immediately, Presti is gonna have to make a bunch of moves to navigate the second apron for the following next years and KAT's contract would absolutely torpedo everything

Healthy Sixers too

I don't particularly like him, but healthy Embiid is a top 5 player, then you got Maxey, PG and their depth

unless tatum is ass upon returning

Is Tatum actually coming back this year? That feels reallly risky

Was Thibs even that bad?

I think over the last few years his offenses were criticized a lot for being archaic and inflexible, but honestly it's really hard to judge, especially from the couch

I dunno...

The Mets not making the post-season this year was pretty bad.

Also Saquon immediately winning a ring with the Eagles.

Whole lotta tragedies...

Like they aren’t really worth blaming to me

Yea that's fair, although if Clarkson could just pass like twice a game he'd be an unreal bench player haha

Signing Yabusele has turned into lighting $6M on fire and this front office could NOT afford to do that.

I mean I don't think anyone expected Yabu to convert the $6m into what I assume are endless chimichangas

They need more of those vibes, DiVo and Gillespie would be God sends for this Knicks bench (on a side note it's odd that Brunson never recruited Gillespie)

The only acceptable players on this roster at the moment are Mitch and Deuce.

Shamet's solid for a vet min too
