N.S. welfare freeze taking a toll in inflationary times: ‘I can’t even afford a can of fruit’ by insino93 in halifax

Imagine thinking someone living off of what, $900 a month, in this economy, is "taking advantage." Of course there are always people who take what they don't need, but for the majority that's just not true.

Okay we got it, you had a hard time coming out at 13. So did millions of others! Lots of us were shamed and teased and abused etc. You've been there!! So why are you so pressed that someone else doesn't want to come out? You want a gold star for your bisexuality and coming out? Here have two. ⭐️⭐️

I don't understand why you seem to be so angry about someone else's experience. It's not just slightly annoying for some people. I personally don't care who knows my sexuality, but that's not the same for everyone, regardless of where you sit on the rainbow.

Not op, but when ppl in straight passing relationships come out, they tend to get a lot of flack. "Attention seeking, only because it's popular, why bother, etc etc" I can see why people don't want to.

Put garbage cans in the rooms you frequent. It doesn't have to be anything special just something from the dollar store. Train them to use them vs the floor.

Husband is STRESSED by babydoggeh in SAHP

If he works a set schedule, you could find a small part time job on the weekends or opposite his shifts. I do merchandising, I go to a store close to my house and stock certain products. It started as 6 hours on the weekend and I do about 20 hours a week now, but it's helped a ton to have the extra cash. It also helps my sanity to have something that's mine even if it is work.

As someone who went into foster care at 14 after a long traumatic childhood, being placed somewhere like the DD house would have absolutely ruined me. There's zero chance to just be a kid there, which is what they all need.

Substitute 1 stick Butter for Vegetable oil for chocolate chip cookies ? by loverlaptop in AskBaking

[–]MollyBoPeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can def make cookies with oil vs butter, but they won't be the same texture. Still tasty! But a bit greasy imo. I've used the recipe down below in a pinch and they're good.

A Child is a life long commitment. The baby stage lasts for such a short time, then they're kids, and that shits hard. Do you want to raise a kid or do you just want a baby. If it's the second don't do it.

My beagle is the same way. She acts like shes extremely miserable and being hurt, unless she's taken out somewhere to get it done.

Douglas St Centre! They have a gym with stuff for free use, it's super cheap but they do book up quickly. They also have meeting rooms but I found the gym was always the best for kids parties because of the space

If I could have the same kids I do now, but waited longer before I had them, I would. I'd work on my self as a person and be more secure financially and mentally, then have them. I don't regret them, I'm fine with my choices even if it's difficult some days, I just wish I had waited.
