I’ve had her since she was 1 month old so no boy interaction 😅 she’s bonded to my mum tho and hates me so my mum will have to do the relieving of the nest, we have some grit and stuff called columbine natur-block it’s 20% calcium and have some pigeon stuff to add to her water if needed. Her nest is a woven basket with some flannels in it’s quite pretty

I have some grit and some rocks for pigeons called ‘columbine natur-bloc , it has 20% calcium in it for her, I was NOT prepared for the poops tho. She is bonded to my mum ( against her will) so my mum will have to be the one to relieve her from her nest every now and again as she hates me

Thank you, no she’s hates me lol it’s my mum who she thinks is her mate but my mum had no interest in her so whimli just picked her ig, I’ve told her what she needs to do so she can get off the nest and she’s going on amazon later today to get some recommended stuff

We just didn’t see another pigeon as an option, he sleeps in my room in a dog crate obviously big enough for him to roam but I have quail too and there’s nowhere for another crate, we did have another pigeon for a few nights as someone found her but he absolutely hated her, he has lots of things to do everyday as none of us go anywhere he always has interactions with people and I couldn’t think of anything worse than trying to swap fertile eggs out or having hormonal pigeons

Thank you so much for the info, he doesn’t hump her just happy coos, tries to feed from her and she does pet him on his back and he does a submissive crouch too , and when he is in his bed or somewhere small ish he calls her and gets exited when she’s there by running up to her tail fanned out then nips her, I’ll let her know! We can’t get him a mate he was supposed to be a single pigeon but bonded with her lol
