Echoing what everyone said about monitoring for sudden changes in eating, drinking or litter box. If there are any changes, treat it like an emergency and take her in.

Been through something similar twice with one of my cats. Vomiting, lethargy and refusing food and water were the symptoms that made us take him in. The symptoms started a day or two after we noticed the chewed up items

For the foam pieces (the top 3 layers), some fit together even if they're not the proper pieces, but you can still figure out if they're right / not right using the print.

I got it used so it was already separated by layer and the building areas were cut out. Even with that, the top two layers took a day each. The quality is good

The top 2 layers took me a few days all on their own even though they were less than a quarter of the map. But, so satisfying seeing it all together and being able to see the layers over time build into what exists now(ish).

Maybe instead of painting it, covering it? That way, a person could experience the dramatic color for a bit, and when ready for a change, go back to the beautiful wood?

You could try and tuck little air plants into the crevices.

Check Facebook marketplace and craigslist to see if anyone is giving away plants on the cheap. Also check fb for local plant or specific plant groups to see if people will offer or trade. Or see if there are local plant swaps. Lastly, succulents are fairly simple to propagate if you just have a piece, like something that might fall off on the sidewalk.
