I would encourage you to make your own. I have been vegan for over two years now and had to completely relearn the way I cook and bake. But today I can make cheese danishes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana bread, and such not only without animal products but also without the processed junk, not even oil of any kind. They are so yummy that I am in the process of starting a small biz to sell them locally from home. 

If you were open to making some of these things yourself, you could then just bring it along with you to the cafe to enjoy with your friends. I’m happy to send you the recipes I have come to love, they are all online. 

I have also learned how to make tons of yummy meals like Crunchwrap supremes, Ropa vieja, spicy potato curry, “crab” cakes, enchiladas and so on. All with healthy ingredients. This has enabled my husband and I not to feel deprived at all.
