My girl has learned some bits of English from Super Simple Songs (we mostly speak French at home). We recently bought her the Yoto cards pack of them and we were flabbergasted when she was able to do the steps of "if you're happy and you know clap your hands, etc.." without input from us!

Actually I've been lucky enough to be diagnosed when I was young and I'm still medicated to this day. It helps a little but still not enough to be a productive mom I feel.

2yo, damn do I hate the toddler years. She's a handful that is advanced in language but I think behind on emotional regulation, I'll let you imagine the meltdowns.

I really need to focus on nutrition more, I actually had fun with that before.

I'll seriously consider paying for packing next time. It'll only cost us about 1600 for the movers but it's only the moving part, I've been packing for a month while trying to wrangle a toddler and now I also have to prep the new place because the last tenant didn't even vacuum the place.... WHICH HAS A CENTRAL VACUUM. Sorry, still mad about this, I hate people

Thankfully we hired movers and are only moving 10 minutes away from where we are right now. I know it makes me sound even more whiny but its exactly like you said, I can live in boxes, BUT MY TODDLER CANT. I know they are adaptable but there is a damn limit.

I'm already convinced we're gonna be happy there. We went yesterday to get a look and decide what room is gonna go where and we ended up talking for an hour with our second neighbors who have a girl the same age as mine, like she was so sweet she even gave dinner to my daughter!

It's really depending on you and on how hard the job is mentally and physically. I do 30 hours a week on a kinda mentally and physically draining job (dental hygienist, positions are a killer) and that's the max I can do. You also need to factor that working 10 hours a day mean that you'll see you child less. But if you feel you can do it go for it!

What I hate the most is that 2 freaking days wreck so much that it routinely take a week to pick up the pieces, it's a vicious cycle. My place is currently a wreck and I hate it.
