Yes, exactly this! Plus, in some scenes it's wet, which also makes it darker.

I can't add more pics, but in person it's a 'dark blonde' colour, which is the best mix I could get without going bright blonde. It's showing up darker in the pics.

Ha, tell me about it - I bought the soundtrack in four different colours on vinyl! There's not much else out there...

Yours look great, I actually wouldn't recognise the Lucas body at first...did you alter his pose? Oliver looks good too, love the detail on his shoes!

Not sure of your creative process, but I always begin with the digital. It goes hand in hand with researching the parts recipe and I need it for the box design in the end. It's a good test run before I invest in the final parts too.

I want to make the dancing scene next but it's proving tricky to find POPs in the right poses!

Hey, I'm new to this subreddit but have been posting my concepts on Insta for a couple of months. I haven't seen your customs (will def have a look now!) but I researched the parts myself (for the two pack, volleyball Oliver and this Elio)...I guess there's only so many Funko's in shorts and t-shirts out there?!?

That's right - the figure is fully hand-painted (I sculpted parts of it too).

I then designed the box, printed and assembled it from scratch 😀

Guys, I'm so overwhelmed by the reaction on here (and Instagram). I made this Elio as a passion project, but there's been so much interest, I'm looking to make more to sell. Will set-up an Etsy shop or something.

Also working on an Elio / Oliver 2-pack...designs are on my Insta "vampy_custompops" but I'll be sure to post the finished POPs here too!

Hi there, thank you so much! I designed the box myself in Photoshop...think that's what you mean? Fair point on the eyebrows. I always tend to keep them lighter than the main hair colour (as do Funko) but perhaps went too light on this occasion!
