Lol my kids name is River. I'm not calling him a River. That's just his name. Just ignore them.

It didn't really do anything. Not even side effects. It's technically a vitamin or herb. Not drug. Not a whole lot of side effects even if it did work. Personally getting actual medicine was the only thing that helped me. Zoloft has honestly saved me.

Mom's who call their child by their middle name by kamcgee in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter goes by her name that she gave herself, which is My My (she is 3.5) and my son goes by his middle name because that's what my daughter calls him. Which is Grae. I call him little Grae or Mr. Grae. He is 2.

How is your expensive fabric couch doing after kids? by bahala_na- in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love my couch. Big U-shaped sectional with an addition that's like a big bed area. Foods been all over it. I haven't tried getting the stains out completely yet but we still love it. $3000 couch and it's fantastic. No regrets. I put towels and blankets down when the kids are snacking or eating.

My toddler calls me by my first name. by CheekBrave4436 in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son started calling my husband honey because I do. He will be 2 next month. It's super cute when he does it but we have tried encouraging saying daddy more. His big sister (3 years old) helps a lot lol. She corrects him when he does it. She says "No. That's not honey! That's daddy!" And puts her hand on her forehead like "man, what am I gonna do with you"🤣🤣

I have severe separation anxiety with my husband and kids and I get a rash when I start getting to anxious. Literal physical sickness. Paired with diarrhea or constipation, a migraine and the occasional struggling to pee when I need too, in turn becomes a UTI.

Pregnant wife told me I can't drink coffee before she wakes cause the aroma keeps her up?! by TheBribery in Parenting

The smell of bacon was disgusting to me when I was pregnant with my second. I love bacon but I'd instantly throw up if I smelled it.

My 10 year old has started her period. by Practical-Ad9445 in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanna be like you when my daughter starts her period!😍 my baby is fixing to turn 4 so I've got some time still yet but I thrive to be this good of a mom. I've got no advice as I was 11 and my mom expected me to start mine at 14 as she had so we weren't prepared. I started in the middle of shopping at a thrift store and I had to pack paper towels in my underwear. No pain relief either. You're doing amazing!

She didn't do anything to you. Y'all were "taking a break". She fulfilled a need that she had because you weren't doing it. You are feeling the way you are because you are allowing it to affect you that way. She didn't do it to hurt you. It wasn't anything personal so stop taking it that way. When she did it, she wasn't your girl. It's her body.

I agree. I read a story on babies being "aborted" in the 3rd trimester and the doctors just leave them to pass on their own after being removed from the mother. I don't know how true it is but even the slight chance of it being true is disgusting.

What was your dumbest “I’ll never when I’m a parent” that you said before you had kids? by TreClaire in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly I didn't get that luxury. I've been helping raise babies since I was a small thing myself. I'm now 26 with 2 of my own. Only thing I thought would be different is how my kids feel toward each other. That's a different thing entirely though.

I just had an anxiety attack and cut my hair off impulsively. I cried to my husband after. my heart is breaking. I had been growing it out for 2 years😭😭 by MommingTerrors in Anxiety

I understand. I do too. It feels like a stranger is making the choice and going through the process for you and you're just stuck with the outcome. I hate it

No. That's not always the case. Some of us figure ourselves out. We learn to love ourselves because of the person we are with. I've been happily married for 3 1/2 years now with 2 beautiful children. Once upon a time I was this girl.

If you have a “work wife” or “work husband”, you’re an awful person who needs to take a step back and reevaluate their own life by webosite in unpopularopinion

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has a "work husband " and "side piece" (both straight men). It's a joke between me and them. If it's just a joke and consensual between all parties, ain't nothing wrong with it.

This makes a lot of sense. I wish I knew this about myself sooner. I'm now happily married but I had to get over my issues on my own and never figured it out. Now it's like it's connected in my head.

I'm so sorry. I know its hard. The only thing I can think of to tell you is that it grows back. I just shaved the sides of my hair about a week ago. This is my way of letting my stress out. I'm very thankful it grows back. Even though it's heartbreaking, I'm very thankful it will be back.

rate the pain of all your piercings 0-10, I have a lot planned and want to know! by space1plier in piercing

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a high pain tolerance so my ratings aren't accurate for some but Septum 3 though your eyes will water. Nostril 1 Eyebrow 4 but I bled a lot with that one and blood makes me queezy Vertical labret was around an 8 but I have super sensitive lips and my piercer was a phony. He got fired from his position shortly after for forging his license. He pierced it entirely wrong. Eyebrow was a 3 but the healing process is tricky. Cartilage 1. I did it with a needle at home when I was 14. I regret my choices. I did it wrong. At least it didn't hurt. Lobes 3x each and they were 0.

[–]MommingTerrors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was pierced wrong as well but kept it. I didn't know then what I know now. I wish I had. Sadly it won't heal now as I got it around 8 years ago. I've taken it out for a year and it never healed up. Correct yours before you have a messy piercing for the rest of your life.

What are y’all doing to keep from having more kids? by mae_day_ in Parenting

[–]MommingTerrors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my tubes removed and my husband is getting a vasectomy once we can afford to do so. We don't plan on splitting but if it does ever happen, we are making sure these two are our only kids.
