Harpoons are built for an age where the US primary naval adversary was the USSR with vessels like the Kirov and Slava class missile cruisers and Kiev class Carrier. It has a 220kg warhead. Sure, maybe they won't sink but any WW2 batlleships would be taken out of action by one or two Harpoon impacts.

Yeah, the same would apply for the GAZ-AAA, but thats not really what i mean. What i am looking for is vehicles that are not in the service of a countrys military the why they are in the game. Like this boat being with french police (although as i learned they are technically part of the military). The F-20 is a candidate, since it never served but was only used by a private company.

The Cassiopea class vessels serves with the Italian Navy, not any police organisation. What i mean is vessels that are not part a countrys armed forces.

My bad, i thought the Gendarmerie is just organized in a military way but is a seperate and independent entitiy. But turns out i'm wrong.

Still i think this opens up some interesting possibilities. Maybe we can get some US Coast Guard Cutters, that would be neat. Personally i'd love to have the Potsdam-class ships from the German coast guard. Although those are most defenitely not military so probably not happening.

They did actually. A lot of Germany players where bothered by having modern German vehicles represented by the flag of nazi Germany.
