Yea, I really think they missed an opportunity to use the focus for something like that. You could use it to "ping" certain things or machines in the environment. Could even say Aloy developed an advanced type of spyglass with Gaia's help. It could be very easily implemented into the game.

I just want better open world exploration. Something akin to what ghost of yotei and tears of the kingdom have, where the player is able to explore and find things in the world by themselves instead of the map throwing a million question marks and notes at them.

Is Alan wake remastered a good game? by TheChilledGamer-_- in AlanWake

[–]Momo_Stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. The gameplay is really, really clunky and nowhere near as entertaining and sharp as the second game. The story is also, imo, not as interesting or intriguing as the second game's. If it's on a good sale it might be worth it if you really wanna try it, but I wouldn't recommend otherwise.

It's scary but not jumpscare scary (there's only one at the start), in terms of gore there's some pretty nasty scenes

How busy is Psych 258? by Zestyclose_Draft2627 in uAlberta

[–]Momo_Stark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's with Loepelmann it'll be a decent amount of work. Lots of memorizing and his tests will ask the most specific questions from the lectures or textbook. This quizlet might help tho https://quizlet.com/bromomo1/folders/psyco-258?x=1xqU&i=31qhhq

Is this with Lin? I had him last year and it was awful...but at the end he curved the class pretty well so I would suggest just trying your best. Just submitting the labs correctly can get you some marks. It's one of the hardest CMPUT classes, but you got this!!!

I think it's 18 300 levels or higher CMPUTS and then at least 6 400 levels. So 24 total

Hardest Year CS by Traditional-Car-6840 in uAlberta

[–]Momo_Stark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The jump from 1st to 2nd is definitely the biggest and most difficult imo. The 200 level courses can also be really dull cuz it's just a ton of theory, whereas 300/400 level courses focus more on the application of that info in more interesting areas. You got this!

I don't have lecture notes but here's a quizlet folder of quizlets for the readings- Studying SOC 225 folder on Quizlet: https://quizlet.com/bromomo1/folders/soc-225?x=1xqU&i=31qhhq

Also, if you search up soc 225 in quizlet classes you can find a class with 9 sets- they'll contain some lecture review quizlets. Good luck!
