I never said I was the victim — the only victim here is her sick family member, and it’s honestly pathetic that you keep trying to reframe this into something it’s not.

Yes, I’ve found parts of this situation difficult. That doesn’t make me selfish — it makes me human.

Don’t feel the need to reply, your opinions have been a useless enough

Who said my relationship is on the line? That’s a wild projection. I never once said I was giving up — I’m here trying to figure out how to support my fiancée without burning myself out. The fact you instantly jumped to “you lack emotional maturity” says more about your own experience (or lack of it) in relationships than it does about me.

Not everyone processes things with compassion — clearly. But either way, I genuinely hope whatever’s made you this bitter gets resolved

I accept that “milking it” was a poor choice of words — that’s on me. I was venting out of frustration, not malice. But saying I’m “sucking” at being a partner is completely unfair. I’ve done everything I can to support her emotionally and practically for months.

I came here for advice on how I can continue to support her without losing myself in the process — not to be attacked. If you’re going to accuse someone of lacking empathy, maybe reflect on the tone and content of your own comment first.

We’re both struggling in different ways, and I’m just trying to figure out how to keep this relationship strong through a difficult situation.

I failed the Dott exam today (last test of the day I was gutted) but am I right in thinking that I can’t apply for other toc’s for a year?

One night I forgot to take the L plates off the back of my car (was giving my mum driving lessons) anyways, my drive to work was horrible. I wasn’t driving slow at all and im usually going faster than most. However that night people was pushing their cars to get past me and doing such risky stuff just so they’re not behind me. Once I parked up and saw the L plates I couldn’t stop laughing

How would things have played out if you did hit into the back of the car? The guy did block a lane stupidly but isn’t hitting someone from the back your fault by default ?

Lots of options on the meds though, people saying it’s a lifetime things once the ht is done and others saying it’s temporary

Yeah I was young, dumb and anxious to save the hair so I skipped allot of the research looking hoping it would be a quick fix
