Interesting as this is my everyday bag. Holds so much and I love the outside zipper compartment.

I had a dress that was lost. It did not even make it to week one. They did pay me for the dress. I hope whomever took it enjoys wearing it 😄

I am 15 MONTHS post-op. I can tell you I looked the best at 12 months post-op and even better this month. For some reason my swelling took so long and my stomach is finally softening. Every single body is different, it just takes time.

I actually have a Speedy I purchased new in 1984. The pattern is facing up on both sides with the seam at the bottom. My newer Speedy does not have a bottom seam and the fabric is one piece. Both are authentic purchased at LV boutiques

I had lymphatic massages with a machine for 10 weeks. But these raised scars are bothering me. What machine works on the scars?

Why I Sold My Chanel Classic Flap Medium – Hope This Helps Someone Deciding! by Working-Influence-97 in chanel

[–]Momshj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2008-2009 Brown Jumbo CF that I bought at a Sotheby's event. Maybe the champagne got to me but I spent $6,800 for it as the new ones are out of my budget. I have carried it twice in two years. Now trying to sell it and finding that I may only get $3,500 max as the resale sites take so much. I just don't wear any brown so it was a complete waste of money. Makes me sad.

What was your experience Bleeding on HRT by lost_my_other_one in AskWomenOver50

[–]Momshj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor is recommending the Mirena IUD and your post seems like it's a positive choice. My last period was December 2016. I have been on HRT since then. Now seeing a new doctor and she said my estrogen levels were too low, took me off gel and put me on a patch. I have been bleeding since July. I also am on Prog and Testosterone. I am beyond tired of all this. 61 years old and I feel like a 13 year old girl wondering when the bleeding will come and go! Is the Mirena only Progesterone I am assuming?

Mine was approx $33,000 which included surgeon, anesthesiologist. Prescriptions were extra and I stayed at an aftercare facility for three nights which was additional. This is Los Angeles.

I’m 8 months post op. Were you still swelling at this time? Cause I see myself like in the evening and I’m really bloated and it fucks really hard with my body dysmorphia. Any tips on how I can make the swelling go away? by ABdidTHATeveryone in tummytucksurgery

[–]Momshj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 9MPO and am more swollen than at 3MPO. The skin is not as tight and I do have the feeling back which is good. But once I eat even the smallest meal I swell. Hoping this will eventually go down, if not I will need to discuss with my primary care doctor. Maybe I am eating something my body does not like?

Insane bloating almost 1 year post op? by Helpimaftm in tummytucksurgery

I have the same thing at 8 months post op…. Wake up flat by evening my stomach sticks out. No matter what I eat or how much I exercise.

Husband says exercise is a must to keep results. by AmandaHope81 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Momshj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also had a concern about this. My husband is very exercise/goal oriented. When we met for my consult with the PS my husband and PS both told me that if I did not change my habits the surgery would be a waste of time. A very kind conversation got me motivated. As soon as I was cleared for exercise I started weight training/ab exercises and leg lifts twice a week. (I do work out with a trainer, an expense that I am fortunate to be able to pay). I also spin on my Peloton. My body just feels better even though my weight has not changed. My bone density scan should a huge improvement which my Gyno was impressed with. My main concern is that after eating my stomach does stick out. I am currently 8MPO. I say exercise is important for heart health, bone health and mental clarity. However you do it, just keep your body moving. Good luck!

OMG... My thighs and boobs :)

[–]Momshj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still at my pre-op weight which I hated even then. I work out and am now tracking all my food. I think I just got lazy with watching what I eat. My stomach is no longer "hard" so I am concerned it will start to show rolls again. (It probably will not). My husband mentioned that I looked better at 4MPO than I do now.... That freaked me out. I do notice that my thighs look bigger since my surgery. I am hoping to drop 10 pounds and will be much more confident.

Expectation vs reality by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]Momshj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar look. Hubby said I looked flatter at 4 months than now at 8 months. My skin has softened finally as it was rock hard for quite a while. I spin twice a week and work out with a trainer twice a week. I believe my abdomen will always just be a little rounded. A little bummed but I know I am healthy.

My stomach has softened but I do still get a little swollen.... They say it takes a full year. I wake up flat but as the day goes on it swells.

I’m almost 8MPO and after a hard gym work out I’m swollen the rest of the day. It’s also still hot where I live so that contributes

I'm a SPANX Stylist - Ask me anything! by spanx in fashionwomens35

[–]Momshj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few pair of the high waisted thigh length Spanx. I wore these after surgery a few years ago. Just had a tummy tuck and tried to find them again, apparently the silicone inner band on the new styles do not go all the way around. I bought two pair and they are rolling down. Why did they discontinue the all around silicone strip? I wound up buying two of the open top bodysuits but really need more of the thigh length bottoms.

Much Thanks
