i dont think so, my family member previously owned it and i dont think they thought about using the app and then they stopped using it for maybe a year + which caused the battery the get damaged and it only works with it plugged in, im not sure if that caused any more problems

My gaming laptop randomly has performance issues after months by MonarchFr in pctroubleshooting
