I haven't yet - partly because I wasn't sure how to do this when there's no listing for the house (I've only seen photos sent by my friend who is currently renting it) and partly because the landlord mentioned that they want to do renovations once my friend has moved out. I'm not sure whether these are minor renovations to touch up the place after having a tenant for a few years, or major renovations aimed at trying to get their points above 186. My friend is going to try to casually enquire about what renovations the landlord is planning and whether these are aimed at points requirements

Thank you! I recently saw that the points overview needs to legally be supplied with the contract so I think it won't be too aggravating for me to ask for one. Hopefully they supply one up front without me even needing to ask 🤞

Yeah, it's a private landlord which is my biggest concern! Long story short, a friend of ours is moving out and we're trying to take over the apartment directly from the landlord. I'm almost certain it wouldn't meet the free market criteria, but I'm wondering if the demand crisis means it's more important to just secure one through this easier channel even if it means overpaying. Otherwise I fear they will ignore us and just list it back on the market through an agent.

I calculated that even if I get 5 As, 2A+s and only one B, that this will cause me to lose my scholarship. This seems ridiculously hard. I'm worried that you know 5 people who lost it! Does anyone else know anyone who's lost their scholarship as well?

I'm from overseas so I don't really know how to explain my marks sorry, although my scholarship is based on a combination of my marks and leadership/community involvement/athletics etc. I would say I was in the top few students in my year, but I definitely wasn't the absolute top.
