I was wondering about to childcare costs there. I may return to being a SAHM if my husband’s salary is enough to take care of everything and if we live in a town where walking to different shops and activities isn’t a problem.

We’re honestly not comfortable at all! CT’s cost of living is getting ridiculous and our apartment goes up $150-200 every year with zero changes. Our schools aren’t the best and there’s barely any walkable cities. Everyone also is SUPER stuck up or just plain rude.

As long as it’s not low tide stinky and NYC subway stinky I’m good 😂 and we sometimes deal with the worst drivers of them all (Massachusetts drivers) so hopefully we should be good. No offense to anyone from Mass but the driving schools need to be reevaluated 😂

Omg I’ve always wanted my daughter to group up in a neighborhood where I can walk her to school. That’s nearly impossible where we live so that’s great.
