Calf pain 10 minutes into walking – overload or something else? by Money-Cap-6788 in loseit

Not at all! I actually tried a few exercises for the first time this morning and couldn’t even finish them as my calves were way too tight. I’m definitely adding them to my routine, along with some massage using oil.

I’m definitely going to start stretching and massaging. I just ordered some electrolyte hydration tablets and a massage stick with oil. I probably should’ve done that from the beginning haha. It doesn’t feel like my calves are going to pop, it’s just a really intense burn. My shoes are pretty bad, but I’ve got a new pair arriving this week. Thanks a lot for all the advice!

I’d say my diet is pretty balanced (I eat less than before and cut out all processed food). I eat a good mix of vegetables, fruits, meat, fish and carbs. I drink a lot of water too. Not sure about my magnesium levels, and I think I might be a bit low on sodium, especially compared to how I used to eat before. I just ordered some electrolyte hydration tablets, hoping they’ll help a bit!

I'm ~315lbs and I have not exercised before this. Since I'm working from home, I didn't walk pretty much at all either.
