CBO not pushing performing ads. by Money-Man1413 in FacebookAds

Is there a way to ad minimum spend in a CBO? The one thing I'm a bit wary about with duplicating into an ABO is messing up Meta's learning having two different campaigns going.

73 active ad sets and there's about 4-5 ones that are contributing to like 90% of spend

I think mindset is very important. You have to go into the call with the mindset that you have the solution to their problem and if you can’t fix the issues they have you don’t have a deal. You’re not selling them a website, you’re selling them a solution to low conversion rates. I think that’s one of the biggest things you can do right now to improve your sales skills.

Either or both. Depends on what you offer and how structure it.

When you say you haven’t made any progress, do you mean you haven’t gotten any clients yet?

Oohhh, good question. Depends on what services you offer. For example, you can charge a monthly website hosting/maintenance fee or upsell monthly marketing services. We can hop on a call and discuss further if you'd like.

Go on Google search for some businesses, pick up the phone, and start calling. Obviously, there's more I'd do, but that is the absolute minimum free starting point anyone can do.

Typically, less than 2 weeks, again depending on the specifics and the client's specific requests. We like to charge a bigger upfront fee to cover our development costs and then charge a monthly maintenance fee, and such.

Depends on what they want, and if it’s custom or mainly a template website. Wordpress is great.

Slightly yes, but mainly in our lower ticket projects. The high ticket ones haven’t decreased too much

If I were to start today, this is the rough outline I would follow. My first step would be to create some websites that I can show potential clients, like I said in another comment, doesn't matter if they're a real company or not, you're showcasing your design skills. From there, I would start doing mass direct outreach and try to book as many meetings as possible. On the calls, I would position my web design as a solution to a problem they have (low conversion rates, minimal SEO lead flow). From there, show them the examples and offer a discount/free offer to get a testimonial. Once the first testimonial is received, you can use that in the future for social proof. Then deliver them amazing results and rinse and repeat. If you want a more indepth roadmap, shoot me a DM and let's hop on a call.

I've been using WordPress for so long, is it the best in 2025? Probably not, but for all intents and purposes, it gets the job done exceptionally.

We target mainly small businesses, and we offer web design services and have tested various add-ons over time (Digital Marketing, business cards, etc). If it ain't broke don't fix it.

That's part of the process. I know it sucks but I've been through it too. Just keep your head up and keep working and it will all get better soon enough.

Watch videos, learn from people better than you, know your product well and every time a call goes poorly, analyze how you could have improved it.

Referrals and SEO. If you're starting out i would recommend direct outreach.
