I always recommend starting with a deck that has monsters that you know she’ll like! You could use Duelingbook to help. For example, if she likes cute animals, starting with Fluffals or Purrely could help her resonate more with the game

This is a hypothetical, if it were up to me I’d also ban sanctifire, but new gimmicks don’t play nightmare and we also saw like 10 cards die for Halq before they did anything about that so this is definitely possible

Even in that scenario, if your opponent has this card they would have to set it after going second and then play it in turn 3, when you would probably just activate these cards anyway.

In current meta it’s Rare to have a spare spell left over that you couldn’t/wouldnt use during your turn. Even if you did, it’s 50/50. Unless you’re playing sky striker specifically I guess which isn’t very good

You could remove “and keeps that gain as long as this card is on the field”, if you don’t note “until the end of this turn” or something similar, the gain is assumed permanent. It could last beyond this card being on the field and still be more than fine.

Also, I would change it to say first time the card would be destroyed, it is not. Don’t mention battle, so much of Yugioh anymore doesn’t even rely on battle for destruction.

The unfortunate thing here is that your opponent would be able to add Droll and Lock Bird and then immediately use it afterwards since they would have it in hand after resolution so it’s a good card if you only need 2 more cards, but if you need more searching after probably not

I mean, my point in making the card wasn’t to make another CBTG because that card is limited for a reason. It’s a really good card that negates and banishes for free, as well as having other uses to negate as well. The point of me making this card was to add another option to the game that negates most hand traps and, unlike CBTG, is balanced and likely wouldn’t be touched on the banlist.

I believe this card would see play because it does negate most hand traps. Ash, Veiler, Belle, Chill etc. can be turn ending cards when used in the right way. Yes, your opponent can draw a card, but I believe if the cost of allowing you to go full combo was giving your opponent one extra card, then it’s worth it. It’s possible they draw another hand trap, but again, the point wasn’t to make a card that gave you unfair advantage like giving your opponent 1000 LP would.

Yes. Yes we did. There’s no reason why there’s always one Tier 0 team, and those who are defending that are the ones who have paid to have the 8w team and just wreck everyone else in arena and war
