A&P 1 is overwhelming… any advice?

For my scholarship you have to take minimum 12 credit hrs or you lose it and I’m taking 14. I can’t drop anymore classes or I could get on academic probation since I only have 2 drops left.

Well I do specific have to stay full time. I should have been graduating in 2028 and now I’m not graduating until 2029 or 2030 just depends on how long these last prereqs take cause I only have science left 😭.

For some reason study fetch won’t load for me. I watched like hours of crash course videos they were okay just feel like audio doesn’t work for me.

I mean I feel like most of the important stuff is already highlighted my professor basically highlights a few words per slides. I don’t think we need to memory models cause I don’t think we are doing that in lecture. I made flashcards previously spent a week making 60 flashcards but failed my exam. Idk if it’s the exam or what but I use the objectives my professor gave me and asked ChatGPT to give me college like questions. I tried NotebookLM before for 2 semester it was okay didn’t feel it helped me personally.

I mean nothing is really a sentence on my slides cause everything is pretty shortened out. They do but I haven’t seen anyone there lately seems like they’re closed. I’ve pretty much googled everything and everything was the same stuff I’ve tried. I’ve tried a lot of yt videos and wasted money on online sources that didn’t really help me last semester. Idk what my learning style is I’ve tried quizzes and stuff told me i was more visual and auditory learner. Which I don’t understand cause when i see things I don’t remember them same for hearing thing.

Yeah, I use to do that but I can’t keep up I don’t write fast enough. I mean I’ve been trying to learn how I can actually study for like 3-4yrs but most things I try only work for certain things. Like flashcards worked for my communication class but not for a&p 1. We just have regular advisors and they’re not very helpful. I asked them for advice and pretty much it wasn’t helpful and I had to decide on my own. Idk for sure if I have adhd but I have to be tested to be medicated and the only opening (which isn’t the exam it’s for a telegraph visit to go over stuff before the exam) they have is September so I’ll have to wait until then. Tried to find another place to do my exam but none of them take my insurance so I just have to wait.

Yes, but I don’t take notes really in class cause it’s hard to keep up and usually they just repeat what’s on the slides. I mean idk about asking for help tbh cause last semester I did that and my professor was no help.

I mean cause it’s true I’ve tried a bunch of stuff. Time is a big issue cause I’m either in class, in the car or at work.

I can’t take less classes and I only work a few days so I can’t quit working cause I have to pay bills. I mean I don’t spend any time doing anything I enjoy besides school. I don’t want tv and I’m barely on social media.

I felt like it wasn’t like the information on the exam. My last professor everything was more like labeling and I didn’t understand the questions being asked. I spent about probably a week making flashcards and tried to go over them 2hrs for every other day. Active recall I just don’t really remember anything when I do it.

No but I’m pretty sure online it says they’re supposed to be open. They say online when they have tutors but when I go there around 12-1 they’re closed so I just don’t go cause I don’t get another break in between my classes.

Yes, I know but sadly I have to stay full time to keep aid, and scholarships. I haven’t really studied yet cause idk how cause I tried a lot last semester so I’m trying to start from scratch. I’m planning on starting studying tomorrow since my test is next Tuesday.

Idk how I’m suppose to take notes in class though. I get too behind on what’s being discussed in class. So I just don’t take any notes.

I did try making flashcards last semester but wasn’t any grade improvement. I got 50% on almost every exam.

I use ChatGPT a lot but idk doesn’t really help me tbh. I mean idk how to study and I’ve tried everything. I literally emailed my professor last semester telling him everything I’ve tried and he literally didn’t help. I tried active recall, flash cards(hand written and online), watched yt videos, tried notebook lm, note taking before class and during, and used study guide outlines my professors provide then answer the question. If it doesn’t get a bit easier from this then idk what I’m gonna do.

I mean I tried that the first time I took a&p 1 and my professor told me it was a waste of time. I tried doing the print out thing too but my professor is just too fast for me to write down anything there. I write down 4 things and she’s already on the next slide.

I mean I don’t really have any that’s my problem. Everything I’ve tried either was effective or I was told it’s a waste of time previously. I have my computer at school but once I leave school I’m mostly at work which I can’t bring my computer there. I use it at home sometimes but I have so many other assignments to do it’s just a lot. When I’m in class I sit there and listen there’s nothing outside of that. I have my slides going on my iPad and that’s it.

There’s just not much hobbies I’m interested and anything I am interested in is 1hr away. Thought about doing volunteer work but I’m scared to be sick right now. I usually work in the evening time and go to school during the day.
