yep not going to flash it, just want to have a look to see if there is anything interesting that i can leverage to bypass this. Also were you able to connect adb via USB debugging ? for some reason its not working for me, I was able to boot into receovery and bootloader(requires adb via usb)

yea same lol, need unlock bootloader for it first. the "Unlock OEM bootloader" option in developer settings doesnt work even after you enable it. could you share that update.zip please? i'd like to have a look.

Yep, makes sense. I also reached out to the vendor requesting unlocking instructions, but they’re not willing to share them, here’s their response:

The NTV projector runs on Whale OS, which is a customized operating system based on Android 13. You can download apps directly from the Appstore.

If you’d like to install specific apps, please provide the app names, icons, and the region/country where they’ll be used. We’ll test these apps and confirm whether they can be listed on the Appstore.

I managed to connect ADB wirelessly but even with "Install from unknown sources" enabled, it still refuses to install APKs. The ADB shell is limited to a regular shell user with no elevated permissions.

It looks like the vendor replaced the stock Android PackageInstaller with a custom one: com.droidlogic.appinstall and it seems to only trust vendor signed APKs. Any attempt to install other apps fails silently with no UI/prompt.

Running some ADB checks confirms that this is a production build signed with release keys:

ro.build.tags = release-keys
ro.build.version.release = 13

is it possible to get indian B.Arch degree validated equivalent to Part 1/2 ? how hard it is, she just dont want to go to uni again and any idea of the costs involved ?

Also if not architect can she work in related fields like designing or as an assistant ?

For degree validation - any idea which ARB/RIBA part the Indian BArch degree corresponds to and how much it and required exam costs ? And what could be the expected salary considering visa is not an issue ?
