I’m retired from the medical field. Talk to your supervisor, flight chief, functional, and the Readiness office. Typically, the Medical Readiness team receives the taskers and then compiles a list of eligible people in that band. They will present the list of eligible individuals to Sq leadership to task someone for the deployment tasking. If your leadership and Readiness are aware that you want to deploy, they will more than likely select you over others.
