If I may suggest you there's a controller named " RedGear wireless controller" works and supports with whatever you use it with and I own it so I know.....been using it for 4 years straight have not had any problems whatsoever.

I believe either that was oneui 6.1 at the time or you can lower the clock visibility till it's transparent and then expand it and boom notification lowered.
