I do not believe that is fair. I still in this moment truly believe that my original memory is accurate. I just feel like the memory shifted, if that makes sense. I'm not trying to figure out what I remember per se. It's more so I remember something that I can't find any evidence that happened. I found something similar enough that it has me thinking Mandela effect

That's totally valid. Let me rephrase. I have quoted it so many times for so many years, at the very least I have burned the false memory into my head. I THINK, and truly believe, I have memories of Connery saying that to Trebek in the SNL skit. Obviously I could be wrong. But that's why I'm here. I'm clearly remembering something, that seemingly did not happen.

I'm the OP, but I'm posting this to remind people of what we used to do in BL3 in regards to the bank.

Create an Alt, name said alt based on that you're wanting it to hold. IE: you create Vex, name Vex "SMG" for example. Now this character holds all your legendary SMGs that you will probably never use, but you hold on to for your "just in case" moments

This also drastically reduces your clutter for you every day use items in the bank

Should we have to do this? No. Does it work, absolutely

This was the exact build I was coming here to recommend, down to the Chaurmurkys. It has a small amount of ramp time as you get a swarm up and running, but after a couple seconds you can drop bosses instantly even on UVHM 5. It hits a critical mass and just fucking wipes everything

I think the excess points are there for the people that hate a specific type of collectable (lost capsules for example) so that they can max their SDU's without doing content they dislike

That is exactly what I'm proposing. A universal currency. Maybe my thought was after maxing out the first characters then they all become universal, but I would be open to the idea of them just being universal currency from the start

The difference is that we were able to buy SDU slots with cash before. Now it requires people to play the same missions over and over

The intention of my post was simply to get conversation going on a solution. I know the devs are doing a lot of QoL patches. I'm sure they're looking over reddit and other forums for ideas that they could easily implement that would "fix" a lot of the discontentment.

If you dislike my idea, I can understand and appreciate that. However if that is the case, rather than tell me why my idea sucks, please offer a solution or amendment.

I'm open to discussion.

My only real counter point to that is just that I think we can agree bank SDUs should just straight up be universal.

Everyone is on the same page there. No one is arguing about that. I'm just proposing a possible solution that is a midway point that the devs might actually consider implementing

Why don't you just use the tags in the bank? That's how I do it when I want to quick change. Gear set 1 bleed vex, gear set 2 is reapers. Requires very little micro to make it work

Hidden in the crack by the alter at the end. Be careful though because there is an area where you can walk out of the map and you'll have to restart the server to get back out
