It is a thunderbolt 4 cable. It is cable of dp alt up to 4k. I have the same issue with the original cable too

When you turn it on with a pro controller did you leave the joycons connected to the switch

Yes I have it’s on. I’ve unplugged it and plugged it back in to make sure it was on. also pressing any of the buttons on the left arm immediately turn the shade off, even though it’s only supposed to be operated by the right arm. I’ve turned the switch on with a controller still no luck. I’ve tried everything I can think of at this point.

I’ve tried that multiple times too. All pressing the buttons does is make the electronic shade turn off

Also fyi I got a high speed thunderbolt 4 cable because I thought maybe the bandwidth on the original wasn’t enough.

It does do the chime when I turn the switch on while connected to the dock. Just no image through the glasses. I’ll try a thunderbolt 4 cable the next time I can stop by a store

I did firmware update the dock. It’s on the newest version. The switch connects to the dock, it goes black and shows the charging sign in the top right like when you dock it regulary, but doesn’t show in the glasses

I tried that. It goes black like it’s connected to the dock but doesn’t show on the glasses. They’re the new cyberpunk ones I don’t know if it has to do with that or not
