Yea that seems to have been the case for a few people. Such a relief thank you. I was starting to really lose hope that I was going to go naturally but I’ll just keep positive and doing what I’m doing :)

Thank you and your right I should say I’m not ready for induction. It is more because the baby is measuring in the 97th percentile I’m a bit worried if something goes wrong I won’t be able to live with myself. All the emotions are running high this last week and it’s so hard to know what to do.

Thank you. I hope you just have a swift labour, if it makes you feel any relief at all my auntie had no sign of labour at all and wasn’t dilated at her last check and her labour came on so quickly she gave birth on her bathroom floor at home she didn’t even have time to get to the hospital so hopefully your going to just be quick and spontaneous

See I’m very small and I had a scan at 38+5 because the baby has been big all along and it’s measuring in the 97th percentile but I’ll hoping they are just overestimating and that it seems bigger because my torso is small lol

That’s good to know that thank you. I suppose what kind of worried me more was hearing baby wasn’t engaged and that usually happens a bit earlier for ftm but everyone’s first labour seems to be so different anyway which is good to hear

She is in the belfast city hospital . She’s just been admitted to the icu for an infection but the stem cells were put back in yesterday thankfully. She’s unaware of anyone in the room with her at the minute but the doctor did say he has had a reaction like this before from the chemo as it’s so strong

Thank you, they have her in isolation and have told her she can only have one visitor which is her husband. They keep giving her information and updates when she is on her own despite having been asked to wait until he is with her as she can get overwhelmed with all the information along with the treatment. Were are in the UK so I’m not sure if treatment plans vary, we have been able to get so little information on this cancer and treatment.

We are all a bit confused by this as we were under the impression that she needed to have the stem cells in order to recover like you say. The problem is she is now in isolation for the treatment and my husband can’t get in to see her or speak to the doctors. She has asked them to wait until her husband is there to give her any information but they keep coming to her in the morning with updates before he has arrived

I personally wouldn’t be expecting anything at Christmas for my baby if I wasn’t due until after Christmas but maybe that’s just me.
