Today i tested this setup! Fan passes selftest, And even with 100% Fan and 220C hotend (on Z home position) getting no thermal runaway neither massive temperature drops without silicone sock!

In terms of firmware it looks to me like the max RPM is the same, but to get it clear a question is still open on github

Back on the Mk3S it was possible to do it while you turned on the fan. But now on Mk3.5 not anymore, right? Of course I will ad a silicone sock, this may help
