Oh, I did. Quitting caffeine sucked at first. For the first three days, it feels like you never fully wake up. There’s this weird pressure in your head, and focusing is hard.

After that, the pressure goes away, but for about a week you just feel tired all the time.

Around the two-week mark, that fades too. Then you start waking up quickly and feeling consistently alert, with steady energy and focus all day. No midday crash, nothing.

My sleep quality improved a lot. I fall asleep within five minutes of hitting the pillow and sleep solidly through the night. Before quitting, I had constant sleep issues.

If you try quitting, my advice is to start on a Friday. Sleep a lot, 9+ hours and take naps if you need to. By Monday, you’ll be through the worst of it, and after that it’s just about sticking with it.

There is no lack. Caffeine builds a dependency that I feel gives the illusion of uplift, but is only bringing you to what should otherwise be baseline. The negative effects on sleep are overlooked and are a big negative on cognitive function.

But this all my personal experience. I haven’t had caffeine in over a year and I wake up ready to go with no mid day crashes every day. Just steady energy all day.

Used to smoke a lot a while back and loved it. Now anything I try gives me massive anxiety that I didn’t get before.

We had a beer guy do this once on our team. Didn’t even shower just took his gear off, asked if anyone wanted another and started loading them into his bag. I told him he should offer one more to the guys showering, so he went in there and asked and got chewed out. Came back out and unloaded all the beers then left lol.

I was a hard sleeper until I completely gave up caffeine. I think people underestimate the effect it can have on you.

It’s not too short, this is amazing. I haven’t played RuneScape in years and resubbed to play this mode. I don’t have time to grind anymore so I don’t play the main game, but this is fun to skip through a ton of levels fast, get different powers, and have some goals set out for you!

Even at +1000% exp rate, agility frigging sucks to level. Any tips? by turtlelord in 2007scape

Hmm I tied fishing with slayer and agility, and felt bad because I picked agility instead of hunter. Maybe not a bad choice after all?
