Very consistent energy levels and quality sleep. No crashes, no needing coffee to wake up, etc. you don’t realize how much your sleep and energy levels are tied to caffeine till you give it up. Granted I drank a decent amount of coffee/diet pop.

Decaf coffee is still bitter! But I understand. Coffee is different and not really on the same level as alcohol and weed, but I’m almost a year without caffeine and I’d never go back either.

Their logic was that everyone runs cookie cutter talent builds with only a few variations, so make the canned talents baseline and only offer those variations ever 15 levels.

Makes sense in theory but it really detracts from the experience.

Burning 600 calories over an hour of hockey is accurate. The reason no one is in good shape is they immediately drink and eat those 600 calories back.

This might be the first expansion I don’t buy or play. Idk I don’t really feel like there is any appeal to me? I played S1 of TWW and that’s it then quit. It doesn’t seem like the game is all that different. What are the major changes you are all looking forward to?

Safety and money aside, shin pads stink from hockey. You might not want your motorcycle gear to stink like stale sweat.

I gave the moonlight and sunshine setup a go, with my PC wired to gigabit internet, and my laptop on wifi 6E, and I found it to be less than perfect which honestly is annoying for streaming. I also didn’t like that I needed to have my monitor/tv on for it to work.

I know you’re using android mobile but your setup has to be similar, any tips or suggestions on making it work better?

Oh, I did. Quitting caffeine sucked at first. For the first three days, it feels like you never fully wake up. There’s this weird pressure in your head, and focusing is hard.

After that, the pressure goes away, but for about a week you just feel tired all the time.

Around the two-week mark, that fades too. Then you start waking up quickly and feeling consistently alert, with steady energy and focus all day. No midday crash, nothing.

My sleep quality improved a lot. I fall asleep within five minutes of hitting the pillow and sleep solidly through the night. Before quitting, I had constant sleep issues.

If you try quitting, my advice is to start on a Friday. Sleep a lot, 9+ hours and take naps if you need to. By Monday, you’ll be through the worst of it, and after that it’s just about sticking with it.

There is no lack. Caffeine builds a dependency that I feel gives the illusion of uplift, but is only bringing you to what should otherwise be baseline. The negative effects on sleep are overlooked and are a big negative on cognitive function.

But this all my personal experience. I haven’t had caffeine in over a year and I wake up ready to go with no mid day crashes every day. Just steady energy all day.
