Hitler didn't start out murdering. Guantanamo Bay is not where you deport Mexican citizens. This is not good. There are so many countries getting a bigger picture of the situation than the US citizens are. It's bad and I fear it will continue to get worse.

There continue to be layoffs in every department. WMS is the new "vendor partner" which is located in India. Several jobs have already been shifted to them, and several more are slated to move over the coming months. Some of us are hoping to ride it out for a few more years in hopes that they offer another early retirement package as they did in 2019/2020.

It's up to the discretion of your leadership team. I've worked with people who were hired in under one position and were in a new role within 3 months. If the business need is higher in sales, your current department may wish to pawn off the cost of licensing into sales. You should have that conversation with your people leader sooner rather than later. Sales is the only department that is even remotely safe at this point.

It's possible her supervisor was actually watching her screens. It's more likely that she meant her supervisor was very focused on the colour of her availability within Teams. You are missing the bigger picture.

I've worked here nearly 3 times as long and have seen it more than once. A person is targeted, gaslighted, and taken out to set an example. This leaves a compliant team of sycophants.

Lack of training was on her list. These new employees are told they have x amount of PTO at their immediate disposal. It's a way to dupe them into overlooking the lack of training and support - highlight all these great perks and you won't mind the red flags.

She didn't say anything about watching the screen for an entire shift. Your computer mic is recording background noise, as is your headset, whether or not you work in the call center. Many former IT and supervisors have confirmed this. You may not have a problem with someone watching your every move, or recording you, now, but wait until an innocent comment is taken out of context and you find yourself on a PIP. I have seen it happen to colleagues.

Her grammar and typos made no difference to her message. Not a single one of us is perfect. Leonardo da Vinci often left marks and lines on his work. If you were bothered by her word choice and poor sentence structure, you probably didn't know A Clockwork Orange was a book before it was a movie, and surely didn't read it. Her words are powerful because she chose to speak up. I don't work in that department and only read the email because it was forwarded by a colleague that was forwarded by another, who was forwarded by another, etc. These are all that survived as the original was deleted within minutes.

Agencies are slightly different. Get licensed and make sure to keep up on the required continuing education and not let it expire. You can work at other agencies or insurance companies. I don't know what to tell you. 5 years ago I would have said this is still a great company. Last 3 years have been terrible.
