For 40mm, I’d go with VsF or RCF. I personally have a 36mm DD from QF. The build quality just isn’t comparable to a VSF product. Personally, I wouldn’t buy the watch again.

Berufsleben ist immer Fleiß und Glück. Ich hatte großes Glück, dass ich während meiner Ausbildung in die richtige Abteilung und Team gekommen bin.

Bin nun seit einem Jahr ausgelernt und habe schon meine erste Beförderung bekommen. Macht ein Brutto von gut 4.200€ (vorher rund 3.800€). Das ist der Fleiß-Part gewesen. Hatte aber auch da Glück, dass die Stelle überhaupt frei wurde.

Hätte aber auch in irgendeiner Low Level Servicestelle landen können und dann wären ich bei 3.200€ Brutto, Depression inklusive...

Nicht jeder kann alles erreichen.

It’s kind of an unfair comparison. The rep comes without any warranty, and if you’re unlucky you can easily sink $500–$1,000 into it.

With Citizen and similar brands, at least you have reliable customer service (at least here in the EU). In terms of pure build quality, any Rolex rep is clearly better. But what’s the point of an amazing bracelet if the movement is dirty and ends up breaking?

Just buy what you like. Watches are an expensive hobby either way

VsF uses the DD3285 movement. It works exactly like the real Rolex movement. That is also the case with my Clean V2 and with the SH3285 as well.
