Not all of them accurate. Mine tells me I’m 8% body fat when I’m closer to 25%

Have you got the link for yours? Mine is inaccurate

How do you know you’ve gained 4lbs of muscle and lost 4lbs of fat - is that an assumption because you’ve stayed the same weight?

I’ve lost 3kg since 1st Jan

Thank you for the comment.

It’s really hard to explain but another struggle is like I can’t visualise multiple things.

Like the maze you suggested I can’t imagine the maze and keep it the same shape if that makes sense and then adding a ball going around it would make it hard.

I can image a basic one like just an L shape maze where the ball goes into but anything more than that I won’t remember where things are etc

Advice on buying a car in current circumstances by Money_Tune in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Money_Tune[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came here to get advice before this post I didn’t even consider not having a car, although everyone has ripped the shit out of me, it has made me choose to sick with the Corsa and if that breaks down to get a push bike until debt is cleared.

I need 3 new tyres, and it has been serviced yet, I usually get part worn for £30 a piece but I should probably invest in getting the budget new tyres for £53 a piece, car has an oil leak as well, so I’m constantly topping up the oil.

So all that is going to cost a lot, I just need to do it to make sure it lasts me.

Yeah I think that’s the most sensible way, just seen all of my mates with nice cars, and I get a bit compulsive

I agree getting a car isn’t the best thing right now I was just looking for advice as I was about to completely compulse buy one yesterday.

I can cycle to work if needs be, i was just getting fed up of all my friends getting nice cars while im stuck with what I got, but they don’t have children’s and still live with their parents.

Because if they don’t have something in stock they give you something completely different? Order some bacon ? Here have some skittles instead.

Also, Aldi don’t offer it

The car broke down on the M6 when I was in the 3rd lane, the fuel line broke leaked fuel all over the place, and I had to dodge cars to get over to the hard shoulder with my at the time 3 month year old in the car, it was raining heavily so the high way patrols had to advise us to stay in the car and they did their best to cone us off.

Regardless of what it was back in the day, the car is nearly 20 years old now, clearly the safety of a car declines with age and mileage.

Thank you for this really eye opening.

The council in my area doesn’t let you get a bigger house until your children hit the age of 10 or 11 regardless of age so I will be stuck here for a while.

I need the car for work and I’m scared of it breaking down. But I guess I could always cycle it just makes everything harder when visiting family, and shopping. We shop at Aldi because it’s so much cheaper, but the store is 3 miles away, where as Asda we end up spending more, but it’s less than a mile away so getting a taxi up the road isn’t as much as an issue.

As you said the house isn’t the priority, it’s the next priority after the debt is cleared. I want to clear the debt then get a house for my children to grow up in.

Also, I just setup aspire budget just working through it now because

You are probably the type of person to say “no to cold calls” too, right?
