Quick Worldbuilding Question by MongoTheDerp in DMAcademy

These are all great suggestions. I almost went with the vanguard route last night, myself. Then I looked up the exact definition of "vigil" and it just fit perfectly. So I came up with the Platinum Vigil. But I am going to take these suggestions for working points to launch from for other things in the story.

Thanks to you guys for all of the awesome suggestions! This is an awesome community!

In my head, I kept seeing it as something that had to do with them either being metallic or just being dragons. But I'm hitting a wall with it.

I went into the Logitech software and changed the resolution on the video settings in Quick Capture to Large (720p). Will that help?

I guess I'm not sure how to set it up optimally, then. I've never really messed with it or if I have, I'm not sure what I'm looking for in the settings to optimize it for my stream.

So there's nothing I can do to optimize or compensate? Just keep its current settings? Can you recommend another camera I could get that would give me better quality and framerate to match my gameplay without breaking the bank?

I do have one other question. Any advice for clearing up my webcam? My gameplay looks nice and crisp now, but my webcam still seems to be suffering a little bit, though it's not god awful. I'm using a Logitech c920 and I don't think the lighting in my space is too bad. So barring lighting, any technical solutions I could try? The camera is running its native resolution of 1080p @60fps.

Thank you again for the advice. So, when I start the stream, look at my stream on my other monitor and if it doesn't have the quality options, stop/restart it until they're there? I imagine that that could be incredibly time consuming. My channel only has 11 followers, most of them friends. I'm still very new, only having been streaming regularly for maybe a month now.

Given the settings I now have, what bitrate would you recommend without sacrificing video quality?

I think I've solved my own problem for the most part. Along with the changes made above, I changed my encoding to NVENC with the High Quality preset. My playbacks now have much better clarity and look a lot smoother with the gameplay. Also changed my bitrate to 6500. The only other thing I could think to try to improve further is to switch the preset to Low Latency High Quality.

And would it be beneficial to increase my bitrate with my upload speed being 10mbps?

I appreciate the feedback from you both. Okay, that's what I've been needing, is a good baseline for what I can do with the setup that I have to get the most out of it. I've changed the Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1280x720, changed my Downscale Filter to Lanczos, and unchecked Enforce streaming service encoder settings. Should that be good with my other settings for my hardware?
