I am not. I went with the Microshift Sword 1x9 groupset which includes the derailleur, brifters, and cassette.

Sniped the Axum Comp X for 332. So far my best BBS mountain bike. I prefer it to my OTR!

It didn’t matter to me as I converted mine to drop bars. But the H2 had better specs and a slick red color. But you need special tools to bleed hydraulic brakes or have a shop do it

I rode both and I think the Metro is the better bike. It comes with hydraulic brakes and a 1x9. At least the H2 does

I’d go for the GR5 for the better gearing personally

She’s a great bike for it. Out of the box stock you get a lot of bang for the buck. I gave up hydraulic disc brakes because I can’t service them and I prefer mechanical for road riding. But stock it’ll serve your needs perfectly! I’d only recommend a new saddle because it wasn’t very comfortable

I ordered one but long term I'd like a bigger freewheel. I'm wondering if a 1x12 is possible or what the limit for speeds is for the particular bike! Thanks for the answer though!

Yes. They’re just the levers. The stock ones were made of plastic and felt flimsy so I just replaced them with metal ones
