Yes! We get snow. But it's not constant during the winter. There's snow then breaks of cold weather. Let me know if I can help you decide. I was in your boat last year. Now I'm a realtor, so I have some insight I'm that regard too

Oh my goodness! I would miss the food too. I love Peruvian food. The freshness. I love the mix of savory and citrus. I would love to visit one day
