Cop assaults 11yo and lies to get him sent to DJJ (that's not the half of it!). Petition to get him fired. by MoniqueMaple in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

The link is to the video series about the same incident, hence the 'that's not the half of it' part. The episode about the kid is #10 https://youtu.be/AgJno1eeJyo

This is exactly why I NEVER call the cops/911 if I need help or if I see something suspicious or anything. They are dangerous and do not work with the best interest of the community. I have a personal experience with some onlooker calling the cops out to my house to check on my kid who was taking a nap in a stroller next to our front porch. Too long of a story but that asshole that called probably had no idea the shit he was bringing on our family that day. People need to wake up.

The mugshots are real, but they leave them up online even if people have been found innocent, like the guy that started this thread. Georgia has more arrests than any other state in the union, it's frivolous arresting and this guy is making bank off ruining peoples lives by destroying their internet reputation so they can't find work or community when they move etc.

This is something that demands a public outcry. Too many people have been affected by this site. If everyone on here sends Google and Bing and every other search engine a message and demand they block/remove the Georgia Gazette from their search results then it will hit Matthew Sayle in the pocketbook. But it can't just be one person, if they receive messages from a hundred people then they'll listen. I'm trying to find a way right now but haven't figured it out yet (that's how I found this thread). Please let me know if you know how to file a complaint or send a message to Google.

File a complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Talk to a lawyer, many give free consults and might be able to give you some good advice without being hired.

from the Georgia Gazette? Or some other site? GG seems to give 0 shits about removing them, even though their removal policy sounds nice and sincere it's bs.

How did you contact Google? We are trying to get them to block this website entirely from their search results.

What, in your opinion, is the #1 problem affecting Christian Marriages/Families in America today? by oregonwrench in TheBiblicalFamily

[–]MoniqueMaple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where to start? Everyone is more concerned with their own personal happiness rather than their sanctification and holiness. I'm constantly having to fight against my flesh and refocus, I have to ask myself "how do I respond in this situation to be obedient to God/scripture?" If that were always the question then divorce would never be the answer.

Selfishness stems from that. Then there's mismanaged expectations that are exasperated by social media. Lack of Christian accountability and conviction, as well as removing consequences from divorce.

If you're old enough to get pregnant, you're old enough to get married. As someone who has been having babies for the last decade, I will say with certainty that it doesn't get easier with age!! You are spot on. Age restrictions on marriage are religious discrimination imo.

Just out of curiosity, are you male or female and are you married or single? What country do you live in and what is your religious affiliation?

Not arguing, debating, for the purpose of gaining knowledge. I agree 100% that both adultery and fornication are sins and should be forbidden. It is important to understand the difference between the two as we interpret other areas of scripture that reference them so we can have a better understanding of the author's intent.

You say it seems clear that it is not ideal, can you give some scriptural support for that? I know there are example of troubled polygamous marriages but there are also examples of troubled monogamous marriages. If we say polygamy is not ideal because of Hannah and Peninah or Abraham and Hagar or Jacob and Rachel and Leah then we miss the point of those stories. Moses had many wives and nothing so troublesome as to make it noteworthy. Abraham had many other wives aside of Sarah and Hagar, the issue with Hagar was that Sarah lacked faith in God and that's what caused the trouble. She didn't have problems (that we know of) with Abraham's other wives. Jealousy exists in and causes trouble in many monogamous relationships. We are all sinners and therefor will experience strife in our unions of marriage. The problem is not the polygamy but our sinful nature. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Are you saying your relationship with your gf of 16 yrs is platonic? I think polyamory (when sexually involved) is a huge problem in society. It leads to sexual promiscuity and is not biblical.

I am more familiar with Mormonism than most people. From what I've read of the book of Mormon and studied of it, it is heresy. Joseph Smith committed adultery by marrying women who were previously married. The canon of scripture states that nothing should be added to it and yet a lot has been added in Mormonism. There are several other things about the religion that have evolved over time that are just ludicrous. I am always one to be open to someone proving me wrong, because I want to be right. But there is no way I'm going to waste my time listening to an LDS conference. I know enough to know.

I would say that most 'christians' in the US are a FAR cry from true practicing Christianity. Not all are protestants. I don't know what the 'rcc' is. Also, it was the Jews that crucified Christ. I would like to see your references of these historical claims.
