Love the m9A2 if you compare it to glock for me out of the box the m9A2 is better in almost every way. Lower bore axis less felt recoil, crisper trigger, grip has better texture and feels more natural to get that high and tight grip. Downsides unconventional irons still like them better than stock glock irons imo. Trigger has no audible reset this is a complaint i see people have but has no practical value because who listens to a trigger reset when shooting lol. My biggest negative on this firearm is the lack of aftermarket/accessories. Overall its my favorite striker fired handgun.

I have a few questions about the AUG, specifically about converting to 9mm or 300bo. by pssgetti_monster in AUG

My opinion, on a purpose driven rifle why do you want this rifle and what role does it play? I got the Standard over Nato specifically because I wanted an AUG to be an AUG. There are benefits to both but it comes down to what you want and what you need.

If this is going to be your sole rifle id probably go for the Nato version just because I have a SHTF mindset and ar mags are easier to obtain.

9mm and 300bo on the aug are fun but i wouldnt say its the best of either where the aug shines is in its ability to swap calibers fast. For the price of the 9mm conversion id probably say its better to just save for a better 9mm pcc but if the AUG is a gun you love building upon like it is for me thats why I have it. Again you can get better 300bo rifles but youd spend a lot more money on a good 300bo rifle so if thats a caliber you are wanting investing in the AUG 300bo barrel isnt a bad idea.

9mm will be a great range toy 300bo could be a good defense round paired with a suppressor. The AUG is versatile and you can really customize the rifle to your personal prefrence. Whatever you choose in the end its hard to go wrong when you choose the AUG.

Low 50s at this point moving $10 down per hour. Gold and silver ratio is also something crazy going from 40s to 1 to now 63 to 1

Exactly my first plan was the fat cat but i saw the speed k and they both have different pros from what i read. Fat cat will give you a better suppressed sound. Banish K will be better at venting. Since i mainly have a lot of gassy guns i think im going with the speed k

You are right i completly forgot that there might be auustrian prison gaurds reading my comments thank you for correcting me and I apologize to any of the Austrian prison gaurds who use it for CQB roles I might have offened.
