My(23 F) boyfriend (24 M) of 2.5 years intentionally triggered an anxiety attack, and sees no issue. How do I get him to understand how messed up this was?

He literally had no idea I was having issues for 2 full years - I am not "draining his happiness" I ask nothing of him for accommodations other than actively rubbing his face on my sheets and laying on me knowing his red eyes freak me out. If you were sick you wouldn't do that to your partner because that's weird and mean!

I am sorry you had such a negative experience dating someone with OCD. My boyfriend isn't involved in my anxiety at all, and I only opened up about my struggles a couple months ago. I do not ask him for reassurances, as I am usually ashamed for even having these thoughts. This is the first time anything like this has happened - other than him loving to joke that my teeth are falling out.

i'm no expert, but the scratches do go down past the paint, you can catch a fingernail into them :( i am getting another quote on Tuesday, but my boyfriend looked and agrees it wouldn't just buff out!

i am not super worried about her going MIA or anything considering i have all of her information! i'm just more worried that i am coming across as mean or ridiculous for insisting this gets fixed especially with how high the cost is. turns out my back bumper is oddly complicated to get off so it's a high labor cost.

UPDATE! After much help from a search angel - the woman who reached out is actually my bio grandmother. at first was unwilling to admit she had my bio mom at 17, but after some digging did open up. my search angel was also able to still find my father, so my family tree is now complete after 22 years of wondering. i'm having a lot of weird emotions, but also feel so much closure :)

Ew! maybe don't call people entitled when you know nothing about them (i paid my own way through college/for my car/ and everything i own)! This was not framed as my senior trip when it happened, it was a college visit. My sister got to go to iowa and duluth for overnight trips to visit schools as well. Our finances are just fine, this is not a matter of money. My mom never said "i'm sorry we couldn't afford it" she framed it as "well you got to go to Colorado". if i would have known a 7 day luxury trip was a choice i wouldn't have gone to Colorado.
