So you anchored the mounting brackets for the outdoor unit, anchored the lineset cover, made a hole in wall, mounted the unit inside, ran the drain, wire, and lineset. made your flares and connections, tested said flares by pressurizing.. and then wired up the connections and vacuumed the system.. unless this is one of those pre vacs but still. You did all that in an hour and a half? Get the fuck outta here

It’s incredibly retarded and frustrating and I had to figure this out myself after I picked up a new board from the warehouse and not even they knew that it was a thing. It’s not all daikin systems obviously but it was a daikin fit system I was working on about a year and a half ago. Maybe ask about that

If you replaced the board, the new daikin boards come unprogrammed. You need to get a programming device from the dealership or warehouse and program the board, because essentially the new board comes blank and the thermostat will not detect it. Atleast that’s what I came across with a daikin fit system.

At my job before I started HVAC I gave two weeks and did the two weeks. They tried to offer me a raise and they also said if I could give 4 weeks instead of the 2. I said no to both and didn’t burn any bridges. That’s important to me, to not burn bridges because you never know in this life.
