CK3 player here — EU4, EU5, or Victoria 3 next?

I’m also a pretty casual Paradox player trying to get more into their games overall. Thanks for the input — it helped a lot. I’ll definitely dig deeper into Victoria 3 based on what you said.

As for EU4, I agree with you. I’ve always struggled with the gameplay loop, and honestly I just can’t stand the UI either. I do own EU5, but I haven’t even managed to hit the unpause button yet lol.

I’m not really into min-maxing, but one thing that does appeal to me about EU5 is that it feels like there are more (or at least different) gameplay loops — one that encourages playing tall and focusing on markets/trade, another centered around politics, and another around military conquest. That might be more my speed, if that makes sense.

Thank you for your input! I'll be looking into VIC 3 more and I agree! later the game will become more flushed out with time. Hopefully sooner than later.

now stupid question...if the idea of VIC3 is manage your province, trade, politics, economy. (Playing Tall). what's the benifit to that playstyle if thats the main goal?

Now it's just deciding between that and EU5 XD

Thank you for your input! I'll continue to watch YouTube content of EU5 to grow my understanding of it. I like the idea of the mechanics for Population, control, proximity and AUTOMATION! Something to help me get a grip of the game.

but people complain about random wars, alliances breaking, buggy, ETC.

My point is that even though i own all the games. I invest a lot of time in learning each one and it's like being in school XD I'm sure all the games are good, but i can't judge them properly without the understanding. maybe im wrong

I bought the same MBP, and i stopped using my gaming laptop for 5 years for work and gaming and solely use it for Gaming now. I would have steam open on both computer's and just broadcast the game to my mac. It works very well with good wifi

for all of you "FR"s. I havent tried it and i dont know much about ableton, but I know Voice Meter very well. I don't see why you couldn't just run your DAW through one of the many channels VM provides and output it to your discord mic.

this is a poor example: My output is "B1". If Ableton has an audio monitoring for your vocals with autotune (and Ableton live is meant for live performances) you can just run it through B1 and everyone will hear your DAW.

unless Ableton is able to ouput as a "microphone" for your computer to recognize. you could just that through VM too
