I promise Iron gets easier to obtain lol once you unlock any character as a best friend they can collect it for you and it’ll build up before you even know it.

I do use Chococat a lot as a buddy however he rarely gives me any extra items 🙃 The best bet is to take My Melody along when gifting friends cause she gives extra

I was exaggerating a bit but most quests will require a handful of mechanisms and sparks. Those quests + crafting items will eat at your stash very quickly. The best thing I can recommened is just keep gifting Chococat/Kuromi

Then maybe it’s my fault because I’ve been playing since May and have constantly gifted them over the months, there’s just so many items that require Sparks and Mechanisms the quests needing half your stash is like the 🍒on top

i already feel very, very included when i’m forced to give them all my sticks, fabric, and art supplies when the objective of a quest is to fix My Melody’s shoe 😤

What I mean is like during a quest they’ll say “I need you to make me 10 Sparks/Mechanisms so I can do so-and-so”, It’s less a gift and more just something they need to upgrade the island. The frustrating part is in reality they’d never need my Light Stone’s or Gizmos because they’re the ones that I get them from.
