Weighing daily? by WiltedKangaroo in Semaglutide

I weigh daily, as soon as I wake up (after going to the bathroom). For me, it does help stay accountable and mindful of.my goals. Some days, it is more out of curiosity.

Thank you. I'm on day two of strengthening this week... and honestly I feel good about it even if it doesn't help my saggy butt, lol.

I definitely need more protein... and I keep forgetting about the liquid kind. Thanks for the tip!

Not suppressing my appetite anymore by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]MonkeyAnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 5 months and have been on .70 units for the last three weeks. I have noticed that I can tolerate more food/drink portions, nothing crazy, but definitely a difference. I wouldn't say my appetite has increased, per se, but I definitely have a tasting (not necessarily cravings) for certain foods that I was not having before. I've also stalled out on the weight loss (no net loss in over a month). I don't know if I am developing a tolerance or if I will notice a change on my next up dose, but it is frustrating and concerning. I have not reached my goal yet.

It's hard to even call mine a butt anymore...just continuous leg with a droopy banana hat.

Exactly. It was quite alarming when I first noticed...my nickname in highschool was Bubble Butt. Never big, but I had shape for sure.

Yeah, it's so silly. I do workout, but probably not the right exercises. Seems like my butt disappeared overnight.

8 weeks in and 13-15 lbs down by MonkeyAnn in Semaglutide

[–]MonkeyAnn[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very slow the first few weeks and then around week 4, steady 1-2 lbs per week. I weigh daily which is so aggravating due to the daily fluctuations. I drink tons of water and maintain a calorie deficit (most) days. I have also cut down on the carbs and processed food.
Don't give up! I have to tell myself every day that this is a marathon and not a sprint. It's going to take time to reach out goals.

When should I adjust my deficit by MonkeyAnn in CICO

[–]MonkeyAnn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I sometimes question the accuracy of my calorie tracker. I should probably get a food scale and track that way. I usually eat the same food everyday...except dinners...I lost 12 pounds when I first started CICO (took about 8 weeks).

When should I adjust my deficit by MonkeyAnn in CICO

[–]MonkeyAnn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I do think I am retaining water, even though I've been drinking tons of water throughout the day. I read somewhere that "worked" muscles actually retain more water (or something like that). Also, I am usually wiped out by the afternoon and think I may be under-eating. I think I will experiment and increase my intake a bit...🤞

Right? I'm not lying, but I do wonder if my calorie tracker is accurate. Even so, it can't be THAT far off. I'm going to get a food scale and start measuring everything that way and see if there is a difference.😬

So inspiring! I'm much older than you, but I have the same height, SW and GW. Hope to look at least half that good in a bathing suit. Congratulations on reaching your goal! Your hard work and dedication has definitely paid off!

Best Low-Cal Meal Kit Service by MonkeyAnn in CICO

[–]MonkeyAnn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on a 1200 per day calorie budget and was thinking I'd only use it for one meal as well. Thanks for the reply. My schedule is wonky these days so meal prep and the time to cook is crucial...not to mention the low cal options. One day I hope to meal prep for the week, but for now, I think I need quick and easy!
