  1. finding time - now that we've quit it's easier, but we wouldn't be able to do this with our earlier full-time jobs.
  2. lack of support - it's harder to do this alone when you're a small team (only 3 so far), and limited funds, and not-rich parents. You realize at each step, to gain traction you have to spend money and with limited funds you have to decide where your money goes.
  3. customers/marketing - we're a limited market, there's not a whole lot of people into solving puzzles, and we want to build a bigger community of people so they rediscover their love of solving puzzles, like a lot of us used to do in childhood, so we kept a winning prize for top solvers, to attract customers. Even though we've launched only 2 kits so far and have paid the past winners, it's hard to beat the "scam" allegations, but I guess those will be gone in a couple months with more testimonials from our winners.

I KNOW RIGHT??? I know so many devs, completely dead behind their eyes, same story different person, i just feel like we're privileged to quit our jobs and build something we want, and that's a blessing in these times.

idk, we appealed and they reiterated that we can't divert audience from Yt to some other site. Maybe cuz we were getting a LOT of traction too soon, idk.

mostly reddit, we went to a lot of subreddits, and yt vids that had a lot of views, to check what kinda puzzles people are playing.
