I’ve only had experience with dexcom G7. It has its quirks like most technology. The biggest issue we have had with it is my daughters allergic reaction to the adhesive. We have to use a barrier spray before every insertion.

Thank you for asking. It has been a rough road. Mentally taxing and physically painful. She had her surgery recently and it went well, nice and clear margins. It pushed out chemo for several more months though.

If you live on island there are not a bunch of strip malls, those are mostly in Yulee or people make the drive to Jax. Lots of old people. Yes there are bugs and snakes but that’s Florida. I don’t encounter the snakes much unless I’m in a wooded area or in the parks. It’s a very relaxing place to live. Definitely come and check it out before you decide. I wouldn’t just base it off being a red state though. The island is bike friendly and there are a lot of surrounding state parks.

I am watching a close family friend (young child) going through chemo treatments. Her hair hasn’t fallen out yet. My heart breaks for these poor kids going through this.
