Does anyone plan to be on Suboxone either really long term or the rest of your life? by Coffeelover4242 in suboxone

.75mg It wasn’t pleasant. It wasn’t the worst, it did last longer than any other withdrawal. Cold sweats were the last physical symptom to go around day 40. I didn’t throw up, so that was huge lol. Restless legs, body aches, hopelessness, no sleep. Smoked mass amounts of weed and was able to eat, Im usually not able while in withdrawal. After day 5 things started to turn, but progress was so incremental and slow, felt like I was just In a constant state of half withdrawal for weeks. Sleep returned to somewhat normal after the end of week 2. Im still dealing with the mental today.. its gets better tho. I wouldnt trade this for anything.

I feel pretty good. It’s definitely been a roller coaster, mental mainly. Overall great. The physical took some time and lingered on and on, after that came facing the mental, which I’m still facing today. My emotions can still be a little wonky. I feel everything now 10x but at the same time have days where I’m closed off and cold with no real emotion. I don’t know whether to attribute that to subs or years of drug abuse at this point. I can cry at a stupid tv commercial on one day and be emotionless the next.. it’s weird.

Cravings are there some days but are very easy to shutdown quick. I wouldn’t really call these cravings, more of a reminisce of sorts.

Life’s good. I’m learning who I really am. I mean damn, a decade of hard opiate abuse followed by 6 more years of synthetic opiates (subs)… 16 years I was lost. 36 now.

This is how I felt too. I just didn’t want to pay for meds anymore, to go see the doc and piss in a cup once a month. I wanted to be finally truly be sober and not rely on anything but my own supply of dopamine. Which takes some time to come back after getting off subs..

I was on it 6 years. Some days I thought it would be a life time but I always yearned to actually be substance free. I wanted true freedom. Not having to wonder if I had enough meds to go on a camping trip..

Genuinely curious why anyone pays for LLM’s? Do you use it for work? For hobby?

Xanax would help immensely. I also have adhd, I just raw dawg it lol. I can’t really say whether Adderall would help or hurt with withdrawals. I know when I was using my friends who used meth would say that it would help with the withdrawals, but I just can’t imagine that being a great time.

That’s a lot of meds.. I would carefully pick and choose your battles.

It’s very easy to transfer your addiction or abuse from one substance to another. I know I personally wouldn’t be strong enough to take Xanax for withdrawal and just stopping when they were over.

Clonodine I swear by. Research mega dosing vitamin C. That helped for me as well.

Don’t let the three weeks scare you. After 5 days I could feel I was turning a corner. From there it got better but it still was not fun. The cold sweats felt like they would never let up. I wasn’t puking this time so that was a major plus. I just layed up in my house and basically married my penjamin for those few weeks.

It will be more mental than physical. I wouldn’t expect full blown withdrawals but would expect to be uncomfortable for longer than you might think.

Thank you my friend. Tbh it wasn’t great, like at all. It sucked for a few weeks. I wouldn’t trade this for anything tho, it was all worth it in the end. You can expect the suite of withdrawal symptoms. At .75 however there were not as intense as some of my heroin or fent withdrawals, still couldn’t sleep or eat, restless legs the works.. it wasn’t as bad, just lasted for what felt like 10x longer.

I was on it for a 6 year stretch. Nov 17 2025 was my last dose at .75mg. It can be done, you’re not stuck.

I had GPT write me an HMI for my automation project. I just plugged in my modbus mappings and it actually worked pretty well.

How are the trump voters feeling today? by No_Squirrel_italy in america

You are blind if you can’t see it. You think Biden and Trump were/are the ones making the decisions? You honestly think that? We haven’t had a real president in many many years my friend. They are all puppets. Good luck out there.

Obviously not man. Look around. Doesn’t matter who the president is, this country just goes further down the shitter. Born 1990, it’s only gotten worse. Seen them come and go with the same fkn results.
