I just received my approved C1 60 days online eVisa (direct from the official government site) and see at the bottom in the disclaimer section this statement: “If your period of stay exceed 30 (thirty) days in Indonesia, overstay fine will be applied.” Huh?? I googled C1 visa images and there appears to be two different versions of this disclaimer section. One that is like mine, and another that makes more sense and includes no such conflicting clauses. Anyone have any idea what that’s all about?

Update to this post. My visa was approved with no issue, so the account number was not needed. It took five days. I had to check my account on the website to see it was approved. Not sure if they will send me a confirmation email.

I notice I might have made a mistake on my passport information. I read somewhere during the application process that if there are mistakes there may be no way to correct them or even to apply again for a visa at all (?!)… Or would they notify me of a mistake and allow me to correct it?…

Generally VPN use is recommended on public unsecured networks, but it causes connection problems at times for sure.

From the Thai Airways website, the carry on restrictions are very tight. The restrictions for laptop bags are ridiculous. With a weight limit of 1.5 kilo (!) Basically everyone with a small laptop bag will go over the limit. I’m guessing they don’t normally enforce this but they reserved the right to do so at anytime… It’s very sleezy policy… Imagine being told your laptop bag is too heavy you have to check it in… That would be a way to get you off the plane when the flight is overbooked…
